Gauhar Abdygaliyeva
Gauhar is the Co-Founding Partner of SAADA Capital with more than 15 years of experience in Government Relations, Diplomacy, International Law, Finance for Development, Transnational Business and Human Rights, Strategic Business Development, CSR, Sustainability Policy and Advocacy.
She commenced career path at GRATA Law Firm, helped its business development during Kazakhstan’s foreign investments boom, TNCs entry into the Caspian Sea region. Gauhar worked in the United Nations system since 2002 at legal and policy advisory positions.
During 2007-2012 she acted as a lead negotiator on UN economic and financial development, sustainability and human rights documents on behalf of Kazakhstan in extensive processes of multilateral negotiations in the United Nations General Assembly (New York).
Gauhar advises on international investment projects with tailored approach to legal, strategic business development, sustainability, fundraising, GR/ PR for an array of clients, including startups. Among them is a wholesale and retail fuel distributor for which she helped create a private fuel brand, prepared Investment Proposals to NYC Mayor’s Office, MTA and acquired lucrative bids, multiple franchising deals (incl. with Shell, ExxonMobil, BP, Gulf, PepsiCo among others).
Gauhar is a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD in Law) Candidate with Bachelor’s degree in International Law, Business Administration, Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University.
